Official John Paul II Relic VISITS PEORIA, IL

Thanks to the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:15pm the Most Reverend Daniel R. Jenky, C.S.C. invites everyone to join him at the Cathedral of St. Mary for a historic Mass and celebration honoring the life of Blessed John Paul II.  During this Mass, the Bishop will welcome the official relic.  After Mass there will be the opportunity for private veneration of this relic.  The Diocese of Peoria is only one of three dioceses nationwide to host the official relic.  Holy cards with John Paul II image will be given out to be touched to the relic.  The next day, Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 6:30pm the John Paul II Catholic Newman Center in Bloomington will host the relic.
